Denis Rose
Denis Rose is a Gunditjmara traditional owner from South West Victoria. He has had a long involvement in Aboriginal land and cultural heritage management. He is employed as a Project Manager for the Budj Bim Sustainable Development Partnership, which has as one of its main objectives, the development of a World Heritage nomination for the Budj Bim lava flow. The Budj Bim lava flow has outstanding Aboriginal cultural heritage values including the world’s most ancient aquaculture sites. Denis is currently the Chair of the Victorian Indigenous Seafood Corporation.
